Social pension - old age and disability

In order to receive an old-age social pension, you do not have to make contributions as a worker. This pension can cover your basic needs like electricity, food, water and more. To receive such a pension, you must be 70 years of age, not eligible for another pension, and be materially handicapped. The amount of the pension is determined annually and is the same for each person. To grant it you must apply to the NSSI. You need to attach an identity card to your age, as well as complete a declaration of marital and property status to prove your financial difficulties. A disability social pension also covers your basic needs as a person with permanent disabilities without participating in social security. You are entitled to this pension when: you do not receive another type of pension, you have a permanent disability over 71%, recognized by TELK or NELK, you are 16 years of age or older. Its amount is determined by the percentage of disability and the amount of the old-age social pension determined for the given year. Again, as with the above, you apply for a retirement pension. You need to attach a TELC document and an ID card.
