"Violence" over child is any act of physical, psychological or sexual violence,

neglect, commercial or other exploitation, resulting in actual or

possible harm to health, life, development or dignity of the child

can take place in a family, school and social environment.

Derived are 4 main types of violence / abuse:

• Physical violence / abuse

• Emotional abuse / maltreatment

• Sexual abuse / maltreatment

1. Physical abuse

Physical abuse occurs when an adult or older child hurt
