Means of serving the punishment of deprivation of liberty

Means of serving the punishment of deprivation of liberty

I have been convicted of a suspended sentence of imprisonment. I have to spend some time isolated from my family and family in a certain place. What is this place and what awaits me there? How can my behavior from now on change the court's original decision? First of all I have to understand:

Do all prisoners of imprisonment fall in the same place?
No. If I am an adult, the prison will be the prison for me. There I will spend the time that the criminal court has appointed me for the crime I have committed. Closed and open prison hostels may also be attached to prisons.

If I am a minor, I will have to endure my punishment in a correctional home.
If I am a woman, I will be placed in prison or prison hostel for women only.
If I am a minor girl, I will endure my punishment in a correctional home, but apart from the boys.
If I am a foreign citizen, the place of serving my sentence will be determined by an order of the Minister of Justice.
What are my rights after entering a place of imprisonment, I can understand from here.

Are all convicted of deprivation of liberty under the same regime?
The answer is no. Depending on the gravity of the crime, the court will determine my original regime, which will be placed in the right place to endure my punishment. In order to be given an opportunity to understand what I have done, the law has provided for four modes of subsistence:

light;
common;
strict;
special.
I need to know that not all of them are available at different places for convicts. A general, strict and special regime applies to prison and dormitory dormitories of a closed type. For dormitory dormitories of the open type, a general and light regime applies. A light, common, and strict regime is applied to reform homes. What is the difference?

Light mode. What is allowed to me?
If I endured my punishment under a mild regime, the place of my imprisonment was an open-ended prison hostel. I will be accommodated in a room whose corridors are locked at night. I can spend at home two days a month, and work at different out-of-dormitory buildings without security. I will be able to see my visitors without barriers and have free access to them. I can use out-of-home medical care if needed, attend cultural, sports or religious events, study near the dorm, or acquire a specialty alongside the innocent.

Important! When determining my punishment, the court can not initially impose a mild regime! This can happen later at the discretion of the prison chief if I show my behavior by correcting myself and if I have served at least 6 months of my punishment.

What is the common mode?
If I have been sentenced to serve my punishment under a common regime, I will be placed in prison or in an indoor or outdoor prison. If I am in jail, I can work in jail service (for example, cleaning rooms), and if I'm in an open-air dormitory, I can work on external sites. The corridors of the premises, of course, will be locked at night.

In which cases can I be subjected to a strict regime?
If I had been convicted earlier and had a new intentional crime within the probationary period and the sum of the penalties was more than 2 years.
If less than 5 years have passed since serving the punishment for my previous crime and committed a new crime.
If I am sentenced to imprisonment for 5 years or more.
In such cases, his sentence must be enforced either in prison or in a prison house of a closed type. I may be allowed to work in the prison service, as well as working places in the jail or dormitory area. Only exceptionally can I work outside but necessarily with security.

In which cases can I be assigned a special regime?
The court may impose an initial special regime on me if I am sentenced to life imprisonment or to life imprisonment without substitution. I will have to endure my sentence in prison, in a permanently locked room with enhanced surveillance and security. I will not be able to participate in any collective activities with other inmates, and if there is a job for me, I can only do it with security.

How can the original mode change?
If I show my sorrow in the prison that I am sorry for the misconduct that I am willing to correct and do not break the established order, I can ask the Prison Chief to move to an open-air prison in a more relaxed regime. The Chief may decide to be moved and at his own discretion. However, I must have endured at least ¼ of my punishment but not less than 6 months. This decision can be challenged within 14 days before the administrative court of the place of execution of the punishment. If the court does not grant my application 6 months later
