When you accept inheritance by inventory, you will have some rights and obligations. The rights are as follows: your liability to creditors will be limited only to the amount of inheritance you have accepted; in the case of several heirs, if one has accepted the inheritance by inventory, all may benefit from it but are not necessarily entitled to it; the portion of the inherited property legally harmed by you may be claimed by third parties. The obligations are as follows: you must fulfill the obligations exactly to the creditors of your testator; you have to take care of your hereditary property while managing it; except with the permission of the district court, you may not alienate real estate for up to 5 years, and movable property for up to 3 years from receipt. In order to accept the inheritance by inventory, you must first possess the legal heir capacity and your turn has come. Secondly, you must be 18 years of age (legal person). Third, you have not lost your right to inherit. The designated guardian or guardian accepts the inheritance by inventory if you are a minor, a minor, or are placed in full / partial disability. In order to receive the inheritance by inventory, you must submit a written application to the district court with a notarized signature. Attach to it: a transcript - an extract of an act of death; certificate of inheritance; Payment order for a paid state fee - 25 BGN. After the application is submitted, you make a request for inventory. The deadline for submitting it is 3 months from the moment you find out that your relative has died. If you miss the deadline due to unforeseen circumstances, you can ask the district court to extend it by another three months.
