    Transport of goods from the manufacturer to the seller or customer is organized by a forwarding service provider - it can be a person or a company. In order to transport the goods, the freight forwarder contacts the supplier. Suppliers may use trucks, ships, trains, airplanes to transport the goods to a specific destination. Very often they use different means to deliver a good. A contract should be signed once you find a freight forwarding company to use. The freight forwarding service provider arranges the delivery of the goods through a contract with a carrier company. The contract is signed by the freight forwarder and you have to pay the agreed fee. It is the freight forwarder who is in charge of transporting the goods. It decides whether to carry out the carriage or to hire a carrier company. In the event that it chooses to carry out the carriage itself, it shall have the same rights and obligations as a single carrier. It is responsible for its actions and those of the carriers, if employed, until the cargo is delivered. After the freight forwarder has hired a carrier company and concluded a contract with it, he has to report to you for the expenses he made under this contract. The Freight Forwarder is obliged to keep the cargo or to deliver it to another, if he cannot find the consignee at the given address and also to inform you about it. When the cargo is lost, the carrier company is liable to you or the freight forwarder, depending on the name of the contract. If the product is fragile or is a living creature, you must notify the freight forwarder. On the other hand, if he considers that the packaging of the cargo is inappropriate he should tell you otherwise he will have to take responsibility for the damage due to the poor packaging. It is important to know that you need to include all the documents required to reach the consignee. Payment is subject to prior arrangement. Unless agreed in advance, it is agreed to pay for the service provided by the freight forwarder at the conclusion of the contract.
