    Accident insurance contracts are concluded for various illnesses, injuries, deaths that occurred after the insurance was concluded. You are obliged to pay, depending on how you negotiated with the insurer in the contract, in parts or at once. He, in turn, must pay the insurance amount if the accident occurs. You can only take out this insurance if you wish. It can be individual and group. You can insure yourself against an accident that affects the health or physical integrity of your child, parent or friend. This is the so-called Third Party Accident Insurance. With it, the insurer must pay you the appropriate amount if something happens to the third party. The explicit written consent of the third party is required when concluding the insurance. If you deliberately damage a person's health, you will get nothing. There is another option - you can take out accident insurance for the benefit of a third party. For example, if you take out insurance for the benefit of your children, they will receive the amount from the insurer in case something happens to you. Similar to the above, if the children harm your health deliberately they will lose the right of the insurer to give them the amount they are entitled to under the contract. You must notify the insurer in writing after the accident. Otherwise you are likely to lose your rights. Once you have an accident insurance contract and a health injury occurs, you have a five-year statute of limitations to pay off from the date of the accident. If you claim your rights after 5 years, the insurer is not obliged to pay you the amount. When traveling by public transport, you should be aware that you are required to have accident insurance. Drivers who carry out public transport must have compulsory accident insurance for passengers. It's a good idea to read the terms and conditions when you take out accident insurance. It may contain important information, such as that it applies only to Bulgaria, or that it can be concluded at a certain age.
