Transport department changed rules for roadside inspection of vehicles
Ministry of Transport, Information Technology and Communications brings the rules for checks on the road in line with changes in EU legislation. Have introduced measures for implementing Regulation (EC) № 165/2014 on tachographs in road transport and repealing Regulation (EEC) № 3821/85 on recording equipment data in road transport. In this connection removes the requirement as part of checks on the road to check the excess of speed by the driver tachograph data.
Next, in order to transpose into Bulgarian legislation with Directive 2014/47 / EC on the technical roadside inspection of the condition of commercial vehicles circulating in the Union within May 20, 2017 regulates the form of roadside technical inspection of the vehicle.
In addition, the Ordinance amending and supplementing Ordinance № H-14 2009 for the conduct, scope and organization of checks at the roadside and businesses and classification of carriers and persons performing operations on own account, which is effective from March 22, 2016, introduces a general term regional unit of the Executive Agency Automobile administration rather than an indication of the territorial divisions of the Agency, which are structured in different ways with different names.
