The Regional Entrepreneurship and Innovation Agency - Varna today presented its project "Encouraging Entrepreneurship among Young Women in the Danube Region" in Varna. The consortium includes a total of 14 partners from 9 countries in the Danube region.
"The idea of the project is to stimulate young women with innovative ideas that can start and develop their own business by realizing market success," Ralitsa Zhekova, executive director of the Regional Agency for Entrepreneurship and Innovation, Varna.
The next month will be a massive survey of the needs and barriers faced by women when starting a business. It will be carried out in all nine partner countries.
After generating the results of the survey, women's entrepreneurship centers will be set up in the four partner universities - Varna Free University, the University of Pannonia, the Suraevo and Constanta inaugurations. This will happen in 2020, explained Zhekova.
