Parliament clarifies the quorums of local authorities

In the present normative basis it is assumed that the meetings of the municipal council are legal if more than half of the total number of councilors are present. The amendments voted by the National Assembly clarify that more than half of the total number of councilors is present when the number of councilors present at the meeting is larger than the rest of the total number of councilors.
