A European order for the attachment of bank accounts may be requested after the judgment of the first instance court
The aim of the legislative amendments is to facilitate cross-border debt recovery in civil and commercial matters based on EU law. A European order for the attachment of bank accounts may be requested before the application was competent to examine the merits of the case first instance. In every stage of the case until the completion of proceedings the claimant may request the court before which the case is pending, to issue a European order for the attachment of bank accounts. In case the request shall be filed in those proceedings, the order is issued by the appellate court. The Law on the Civil Procedure Code is adopted more that a European order for the attachment of bank accounts may be requested after the judgment of the Court of First Instance examined the merits of the case or after approval of the court settlement.
At the same time the Law on amending the Legal Aid Act creates legal regulations of the National telephone for legal aid. It is a form of providing advice to individuals under preferential conditions outside the general rules for legal aid. Activities of the National telephone for legal aid is administered by the National Legal Aid Bureau (NLAB). Consultations on this phone provided by lawyers registered in NLAB and decided by NLAB. Provided advice on national telephone legal assistance shall be evidenced by a written statement of the lawyer in a form approved by NLAB.
