Lawmakers made it possible residential savings deposits can be inherited by law and by will. The amendments aim to accelerate and facilitate the process of financial compensation of housing savings deposits by BGN their indexation, indicating importers reasons. Available size of the budget subsidy to be not less than 20 mln. Levs year and introduced the possibility of using the right to compensation under this Act as payment, thus entitled to be able to pay taxes and fees to the state and municipalities. There is also a two-year extension of the deadline for filing a request for compensation from persons who acquired or started building a home. Importers want to remove the deadline for payment of all claims stated that expires at the end of 2019.
The reasoning indicates that the proposed amendments would affect 55 000 Bulgarian citizens. The bill does not provide new financial obligations of the state, beyond existing commitments to holders of lihvotochki, there is no additional financial burden on the budget.
