Shop online. What are my rights?

Shop online. What are my rights?

Today, online shopping has become an integral part of everyday life, but what are the rights we have in online marketing as buyers, and how can we protect them? It is important to bear in mind that the following rules apply only to vendors who are professional traders but not to private persons selling personal belongings on auction sites. So if I shop for example on Ebay, I can not claim to respect my rights or seek their protection in the same way. If I purchased a product from an individual, my rights depend entirely on my personal agreement with the seller.

Firstly, I am entitled to information from the seller about the merchandise being sold. Before making the purchase, he / she must provide me with information about:

its names and address;
the main characteristics of the good or service;
the price of the good / service with the taxes and fees included therein;
the cost of delivery;
the period for which his proposal is valid;
the conditions for payment, delivery, performance, date on which the trader undertakes to deliver the goods or perform the services and, where applicable, the means of dealing with consumer complaints provided by the trader;
the possibility of withdrawing from the order.
The information provided to me in the Bulgarian language is an integral part of the contract and can not be changed unless we explicitly agree otherwise.

Without the need to pay back, I can give up on the conclusion of the contract - in the case of service contracts and the receipt of the goods - within 14 days. I do not owe any damages, damages or other costs except those I have made for the return of the goods. For this right, I must be known by the trader, and if he fails to inform me, the period within which I can cancel the contract is extended to one year and fourteen days. However, transport costs are at my expense. Seller has the obligation to return my money within 14 days using the same payment used by me in the original transaction. I have the obligation to send or deliver the merchandise back to the merchant without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the date on which I announced my decision to the trader to cancel the contract.

 The provisions on the right of withdrawal do not apply to the following cases:

for the provision of services where the service has been provided in full and its execution has begun with the explicit prior consent of the consumer and confirmation by him that he knows that he will lose his right of withdrawal once the contract has been fully executed by the trader;

for the supply of goods or services the price of which depends on fluctuations in the financial market which can not be controlled by the trader and which may occur during the period for exercising the right of withdrawal;

for the supply of goods made to the consumer or according to his individual requirements;

for the supply of goods which, by their nature, may deteriorate or have a short shelf life;

for the supply of sealed goods that have been printed after delivery and can not be returned for reasons of hygiene or health protection;

for the supply of goods which, having been delivered by reason of their nature, have been mixed with other goods from which they can not be separated;

for the supply of alcoholic beverages the price of which has been agreed at the time of conclusion of the contract of sale in which delivery may be effected within no more than 30 days from the conclusion of the contract and the actual value of which depends on fluctuations in the market can not be controlled by the merchant;

where the consumer has explicitly requested the trader to visit it at his home for the purpose of carrying out urgent repairs or maintenance work; where, in the course of such a visit, the trader provides other services in addition to those requested by the consumer or supplies of goods other than the spare parts necessary for the repair or maintenance, the right of withdrawal shall apply to those additional services or goods;

for the supply of sealed sound recordings or video recordings or sealed computer software that have been printed after delivery;

for the supply of newspapers, periodicals or magazines, with the exception of a subscription contract for the supply of such publications;

concluded during a public auction;

for the provision of accommodation services which do not have the purpose of housing, transport of goods, car rental, catering services or the provision of services related to recreational activities, if the contract provides for specific dates or dates for implementation;

to provide digital content that is not supplied on a physical medium when performance has begun with the explicit consent of the consumer who has confirmed that he knows he will lose his right of withdrawal in this way.

I also need to know that online shops established in the EU are unlawful
