General contract - conclusion

When signing a general terms contract, in order to be bound by them, you must accept them in writing, ie you must sign. You must provide the Terms of Service in writing. When you, as a trader, enter into a general terms contract and do not reject them, you will be bound by them. If you do not fully agree with the general terms of the contract, you can agree something different with the person opposite. It's a good idea to do this in writing for easier proof, if necessary. The agreement will take precedence over the terms and conditions even if they are not crossed out. When the person you have agreed to change the terms of service, they must notify you within 7 days of the changes. You have the right to reply again within a time limit, which is usually 1 month from the notification. You are deemed to accept the new terms and conditions if you do not oppose them. Many general terms contracts also have unfair terms that are null and void. You can only defend against them with a claim or objection. If your rights are violated, you have the right to file a complaint with the Consumer Commission, which in turn will bring the matter to court. When a contract is concluded with a large number of users and they are not satisfied, they can join together and bring a class action lawsuit in the district court.
