Only by court order can an adopted person understand their origin. You or your adoptive parents may apply for your biological parents to be disclosed by applying to the district court that issued the decision to allow your adoption. It is for the court to decide whether the disclosure is justified. In general, those related to the health status of the adopted person are considered justifiable circumstances - for example, if he or she has any inherited illness. You must also enclose with your application evidence of the reason for revealing the secret of adoption. A prosecutor is always involved in this type of case. He may reject your request or claim that it must be granted. The court also needs to find your biological parents and hear what they have to say. If they cannot be found or have died, the case may continue without their hearing. The court then decides whether to grant the request or to reject it. If he respects it, you will be provided with information about your biological origin, giving you access and issuing civil records to allow your adoption. If he rejects it, you have the opportunity to appeal to a court of appeal. If you do not like it and your decision you can appeal again to the Supreme Court of Cassation. His decision will be final.
